Brick Calculator is a free, independent web tool with one purpose: quickly answer how many bricks, pallets and what material budget a wall needs. This page explains the sources behind the calculator and guides, and how the calculation works.
What is this site, and who operates it?
teglakalkulator.hu is privately operated without advertising income or manufacturer sponsorship. Our priority is accurate figures. The site is independent of brick manufacturers: Porotherm, B30, Ytong and solid-brick data is presented equally and without brand bias.

Where do per-m² and pallet figures come from?
Preset products and guide tables use the following manufacturer data sheets and price lists:
- Wienerberger – Porotherm N+F and X-therm data sheets and the 2026 price list
- Bakonytherm – B30 and standard solid brick data sheets
- Putnoki Tégla – B30 and standard solid brick data sheets
- Leier / ForrásTégla – pallet data for standard solid bricks
- Xella (Ytong) – Ytong Classic P2-0.5 aerated concrete data sheet
We show manufacturer differences, such as B30 pallet quantities ranging from 184 to 196. Check the specific product sheet before purchase, as local stock and Classic/neo/ground variants may differ.
How does the calculator work?
For each wall, length × height gives the area. Deduct doors and windows, multiply the net area by the selected product's bricks/m² value, then add the default 10% reserve for cutting and breakage. Updates and accuracy
This page and the data sheets were last checked in July 2026 . Manufacturer per-m² and pallet data changes infrequently, usually with product changes. Please report outdated or incorrect data. Calculations and guides are indicative; consult a professional or structural engineer for major or load-bearing projects.
